With a passion for people and business, Kirk Attoian brings a rare blend of business, technical and construction experience to his roles in Sales, System Design and Management for Interior Technologies. With a focus on strategic initiatives as well team management and client relationships, Kirk uses his business development and planning skills to oversee operations, finance and strategy. Kirk thrives on the challenge to create new and better business processes all while maintaining a family atmosphere and highly motivated team.
Having been entrenched in the entrepreneurial world at the crossroads of technology and business for nearly 20 years, Kirk’s experience includes strategic planning, sales and contract negotiation in the areas of solar, corporate computing and large scale construction. Kirk has worked with and for both Fortune 500 companies including Toyota Motor Sales, Blue Cross, Hilton Hotels, Home Depot and Amgen as well as small businesses needing an organized, driven and skilled leader.
Additionally, Kirk worked for a revolutionary startup company where he built and managed a hugely successful account team and created standard operating procedures for the deployment of new product rollouts and implementations. This included the oversight of the installation of miles of underground conduit for a fiber optic communications backbone for industry giants Sprint and Worldcom.
Kirk also managed sales and marketing for Astropower, a pioneer of solar electric solutions. He worked with The Home Depot Corporation to expand new sales territories, build support for new solar electric technology and develop unique sales and installation processes.
Widely recognized by peers and clients as a unique individual whose ability to listen to client’s needs and translate them into successfully deployed projects has earned Kirk the reputation of not only one of the best business people in the Custom Systems integration industry. A student and teacher in all he touches, Kirk is a CEDIA Certified Professional Designer (CCPD), Cedia Certified Outreach Instructor, Lutron Certified Designer and a Licensed California Contractor.
Kirk is a proud Cancer survivor who has sometimes been heard to say “Chemotherapy was easy! It’s the audio video business that’s tough!”
A graduate of the Entrepreneurial management Program at the renowned Anderson School of Business at UCLA, Kirk holds a BS in Business Finance from the California State University at Fresno. Kirk lives in Redondo Beach with his wife Stephanie and their young son.
